These are the "disenfranchised" currently unable to vote at the Town and School District meetings who would gain their right to vote with SB2:

Those who are serving their country in the military.

Those with no means of transportation.

Those with health conditions that prevent them from attending lengthy meetings.

Those who are parents or single parents with young children.

Those who are sick.

Those students who are studying out-of-state

Those who are incapacitated or hospitalized.

Those retirees (senior citizens) wintering in a warmer climate.

Those emergency service professionals on duty.

Those doctors, nurses and other medical professionals on duty.

Those public employees on duty.

Those working a second job or working the second shift.

Those who are away on business.

Those unable to attend because of personal or professional commitments.

Those intimidated by open voting.

Those who dislike politics (we understand).

Ordinary people from a diversity of backgrounds who all deserve the Right to Vote

I believe that everyone of voting age should be given every opportunity to voice their vote and I especially believe that vote should be conducted via SECRET BALLOT only, whether I agree with their position or not. I read and hear every day from those that would like nothing more than to continue their minority status control over the majority.

Yesterday I received a flyer in the mail, unsolicited, yet another example of the very individual I refer to above. It came from someone named Whitley with a P.O. box in Center Harbor, no address. The flyer in my opinion contains examples of “fear mongoring”, distortons, half truths and misdirections! However, the biggest deceit of all is what the flyer doesn’t say. Why lie when all you have to do is omit the truth?

In my entire life (64 yrs), Moultonborough is the only place that I have lived where intimidating methods and people are used to directly affect the outcome of public voting by limiting voters rights. Fits right in with what is going on in the nation as a whole.

Beware and weary of those that claim to know what is right for you, how you should behave and promise you the moon while they work at restricting your rights to control those that work for you in all levels of government.
